Repurposed Materials Into Useful Furnishings

My husband, Joe, is perhaps the most talented person I know when it comes to woodworking.  In an effort to streamline my entryway, I've been on the hunt for a unique entry bench.  Not satisfied with the run-of-the-mill furnishings offered by area stores, I set out to create my own.

We visited Refab St. Louis where they have just about anything you can imagine.  It's not for the fainthearted.  Wear rubber golashes, work gloves, dress warm,  and bring a flashlight!

We purchased a few of these old wood paneled doors:

And in a few hours, Joe transformed it into this.  Now ... to paint or not to paint?
