2014 Scouting For Food Was A Success!

Today was a huge success.  My husband, sons, and the members of their Boy Scout troop boxed food donations for 5 hours today.  The result was 536 cases of food, by just one troop location!  Multiply that number across the entire city and nation.  Approximately 2 million cans of food are collected annually.

Scouting For Food originated in St. Louis 30 years ago.  My step-father worked the very first collection day.  The event was so successful, it spread across the nation, helping people in a time of need.
